The Theory of Shadows
The depiction of shadows evokes spatial depth, creates an illusory third dimension on the bi-dimensional plane, and emphasizes the position of an object.
Fixing a light source and studying shadows allows one to create, through a series of graphical and geometric operations, the evolution of the shadows of a given object.
This study is called “The Theory of Shadows”. Visible light interlaces with fascination caused by shadows, matter transforms through shapes and illusions, and laws of physics are turned inside-out.
